why do i need a stage 3 clutch

i have landrover defender 15p engine 2.5 td5 ,i think i need a new clutch, it has a stage 2 remap so which clutch should i get

im confused do i get a normal one or do i need an upgraded so called performance one

any advice welcome

Hi depends on what you use your landy for if your doing alot of towing like horse box /stock trailer caravan etc then i would fit a heavy duty clutch kit , i normaly fit heavy duty clutch kits to landys in my workshop regardless hope this helps

sorry but im having a brain block when you say a heavy duty clutch does that mean i need something called a stage 3 clutch , i dont ise it for anything other than driving ,no towing ro anything
