Comig round to the idea that my block is about to give way :(.
Last few checks to do before the purchase of the miricle cure.
I've put a new rad on but kept the old as its good and the flow rate is good so will put this on when the Irontite is put in the system.
Just wondering how many folks here have used it. Obviously if youve had an Iceland eruption out the expansion tank it wont plug, but Ive just got a small water loss and gas in the coolant.

As far as I'm concerned it's a quick fix an can do more harm than good, yet some on here say it has worked for them.
The P38 cooling system is borderline at the best of times and I feel that such an additive can tip it over the edge,,,but that's my opinion. No doubt someone will come along and say it's the greatest invention next to wimmin.

willos, i used it last year just to keep mine going, they say it will last forever i only had mine in for 6 months, then changed the engine, put new water pump on and a new rad in. imho its only a short term fix, but did me a turn..

I remember reading somewhere the risk is if you get some in the engine oil when you are putting it in,then it can block some of the oil channels and you may have a catastrophic engine failure sooner than you expected!

Also you DO NOT put it in with anti freeze. That must be drained off and clean water put in. After treatment the Irontite is also drained out and new coolant put in. Irontite and some antifreezes don't like each other and it set like concrete in the matrix's. Causing an even bigger problem.
