So its a usual work day, go park the disco at the office parking lot and come out at lunch hour to find someone who obviously shouldn't be driving a car has done the unthinkable.... In parking or backing out, they had managed to bump my truck and tore a gash in the plating.:eek::eek::eek::eek:
Who does things like this??:mad::mad::mad::mad:
Judging by where the damage is, I've been asking myself what kind of vehicle sits that high to have missed the bumper and done that??
And they were nice enough to have just driven off...:mad:

I would say its a delivery vehicle something like a flatbed rigid? Do you have companies deliver in the area like that maybe your goods in dept has a record or security has video. I doubt it will be cheap to fix that
 
What an asshat, hopefully it has done considerable damage to his vehicle also and he can be traced. I am full of rage just looking at that given the fact that the coward fled without leaving a note.

Sincerely hope there is security footage.
 
Wow, that's really bad, sorry to see that. I got mad enough at someone putting a big scrape in my plastic bumper on the D3 in the first week i had it, but, that is proper damage :(
 
Someone hit my other halfs golf r32 last week in a pub car park, someone shouted her and I caught the woman trying to drive off, total repair bill £1560 do you have CCTV at work?
 
That defo doesn't look like it was done by a car so with a bit of detective work you might be able to find the perpetrator. Best of luck...
 
That will be a flat bed, nothing else will do that sort of damage.... hopefully you will catch him but doubtful, if you do find out who it is do not confront him directly, send a letter to his company explaining it was caught on CCTV and unless insurance details are given you will pass on details to the police to treat as a hit and run.
 
Yep, the parking lot is covered by "security cameras"...employer is honestly more concerned about people taking spares and tools home than the safety of our vehicles. Unfortunately for me I had to go out to do some field service work today, so no follow ups yet.
Imagine going out to work on someone's broken down truck when your pride n joy sits bleeding in the parking lot:( (I left it where it stood after formally lodging a complaint with management).
Management should have drawn up the tapes and have some answers for me by the time I get to the office in a few hours:rolleyes::rolleyes:

If the CCTV identifies them just take it to the police And get your insurance to sort it out, don't get involved yourself, they'll get 6 points for leaving the scene of an accident plus a fine and they deserve it
 
any info yet, im hoping the cctv will show something, and that is sage advice, if you do get them on tape then straight to ecilop and let the insurance deal with it.

hopefully the git has some points and will get banned!

a bit harsh but doing that and just leaving is worse.
