Whining rubbing noise .

hi rr sport v8 4.4 2005.whining rubbing noise coming from f/o/s starts about 15 mph. And slightly louder when breaking. Could it be wheel bearing . And if so how roughly to repair . Thanks alfiealfie

Likely brakes. Whatever it is needs replacing.

If you know the correct jacking procedure (needs to be done correctly) you can get the wheel up and spin/wiggle it. Should identify what it rubbing when it in front of you. If you are unsure get an Indy to have a look.
