I have a farm Jack, axle stands and a small bottle jack already but thinking about a trolley Jack.
Will a trolley Jack be any good or better than what I already have? Wasn't looking at spending that much one one so 3 ton or more or lorry jack are out of the question
Regards
Steve

Yes, a decent trolley jack is excellent. They're usually nice and stable and provide effortless lifting. However, if you go really cheap and get a £39.99 one it might struggle a bit with the Land Rover. I got the biggest one I could find for under £100 and it's pretty well matched to the Land Rover and I wouldn't be without it. It's so much fun to use that sometimes I jack up just to hose the mud off the underneath.

I have the 3 tonne ctj3000g from machine mart which is a fairly substantial bit of kit, it's currently 101.99 but was only about 60 when I bought mine. I've just looked and they have the ctj3000ql which is apparently designed for 4x4's for only 53.99 - I might even go and buy one myself at that price.

I went for the halfords 2.5 T 4x4 trolley jack. Bargain at 59.99. Good quality and well worthwhile investment.
