Are any of you using DAB aerials on your Defenders, and where have you mounted it?
Still haven't got around to fitting an aerial for my stereo install, but would like to fit one to the rear end panel above the tailgate door (next to rear screen wash nozzle). But I cant find one that can mount to a vertical surface whilst pointing directly upwards. Ive heard they work best if they can obtain a 360 degree signal, so they need to be placed high.
Despite Halfrauds telling me that a dedicated DAB car aerial doesn't exist, Ive since learnt that they do, and that they can carry both the DAB and FM signal. There seem to be three different types;
Roof mounted
Wing mounted
Exterior windscreen mounted
Anyone using one of these?
