Where is reasonable to get a good price ?

Having been a bit disgusted by local ‘expert LR garage’ customer service I wont be using again.

however am interested to know if theres any decent fellers in the trade who are offering decent money for vehicles - mine to be precise. Just dont want to be ripped off, and dont rally know market values anymore

Given the demand for Defenders at the moment and the rise in prices, why not sell it yourself? Spend some time looking at eBay, autotrader, FB marketplace if you have access, and get an idea what your vehicle is worth. Make sure any jobs that need doing are done, get it valeted or give it a good clean, and advertise it. No point in letting someone else get the profit. As demand is up, a dealer won’t have to do much and will take money for not doing much.

thanks for kind reply. I suppose I am in a bit of a bind in that Im very rural, do need a 4x4 especially in winter but not necessarily a full time one and I now have an injury which means working on it myself isnt an option. I wont be driving it several times a week.

I will look to see if I can fit a rear door if I can get one at an ok price. Im not repainting it-a new owner can make that choice
