Ok this might sound a bit chavy so I will wait for the insults to die down but has anyone used the white tyre pens on their tyres. I got a couple a few years ago when i had my last 4x4 but never got round to using them but i saw a 4x4 with the white writting on the tyres today and it didnt look too bad.

I once used them years ago. Took ages to do & went dirty brown within a couple of weeks & within a couple of months had mostly crumbled away. Not worth it in my view.

I used them years ago.. they went brown and broke off in chunks after 4 or 5 weeks..

I dont think it looks chavvy at all, but if youre gonna have them taxii, wait til your tyres are due a change and just get a set of new ones with the white writing on.. Itll last a hell of a lot longer.

I never used it, but a fellow Freelander drivers from the Belgium Freelander Forum has tires with the white writing on it. But I think it was genuine.





I think it looks bad when the white is going of and you have to re paint it.

For what its worth I did mine with a pen, looks great, but the secong you go laning its rubbed off. The look is pretty good, I like it anyway especially on a Black motor. But I dont touch it up anymore, Id definitly get BFG with it already done.

those look amazing mate. how long did it take you to do them all and did you do them on the car or off it?

about 10 mins per tyre, done on the car. Its ok for tarmac stuff and shows but once a little muddy, start again.... I dont bother so much now, might get up back up to look good in the spring.
