Some of you will already know i bought another P38 2.5d with no keys. Sorted all that out the car now starts first time. I was well chuffed until i tried to drive it. It goes forward and backward in a straight line, but when I turn to left or right it feels like the brakes come on and clonks and the wheel skids a couple of inches. I have not tried to force it incase I bugger something up. Any Ideas.

jack a front wheel up box in neutral and see it will turn with a bar on a wheel nut it should turn slowly with a little effort if not vcu is seized

either the CV joints or the diff or the VCU disconnect front propshaft and drive it if it is cured then its the VCU at fault if its still the same then its either the diff or the CV
