Would it be possible to run 285/85/16 wheels and tyres on a standard non lifted 110. Its just that I have been offered a set really cheap black modulars with cooper stt tyres and I wondered if i would have issues with rubbing? I have alloys on just now and i dont think the alloys look good on the landy to be honest. I also have spacers put on by the previous owner and i dont trust them.Any help would be a great bonus.

they will probably rub without the spacers but you can adjust the steering stops to stop that, it depends on how much offset there is on the respective sets of wheels.

Okay, heard a lot recently about offset. Can someone please explain offset and how that affects things?

The distance off centre that the outer rim is set at. further out it is more leverage it applies to stub axle & wheel bearing. But allows you to fit a wider tyre before it rubs on the radius arms. on full lock.
