Has anyone got any advice on wheel adaptors to put Disco 2 wheels on a Disco 1.
I picked up a set of wheels for the tyres but the wheels are rather nice but the price of adaptors is more than the wheels / tyres.
Is it worth it or just swap the tyres onto my rims?

Depends what you want.

Have a look on eBay. But for some reason adaptors seem to cost more than spacers. Despite essentially being the same thing, just having a different PCD on one side.

If they are alloys make sure you get hubcentric adaptors.

And make sure you understand the offset impact. The adaptors will move the wheels more out board. If your new rims have a deep dish offset the then you might find the wheels sticking out of the arches.

Thanks for the info. I thought the same about the spacers / adaptors why the major price differential.
