Hi Folks

I changed my turbo at xmas because i was told by the garage that it was knackered.
But now i'm getting a power cut going uphill at around 2750rpm in 4th + 5th, white smoke out the exhaust and oil is spraying form the dipstick

What could this be?
The garage are telling me know its a headgasket problem but i'm not sure.
Its coolling fine and doesnt overheat at all.

Any help is appreciated :D

fine
level seems ok and no weird smell off it or anything?
Could it be the gasket or is the crank breather filter a more likely cause?

Can't understand why you haven't already changed the breather with it being relatively cheap & easy.

oil spraying from the dipstick is almost certainly a blocked crank case breather filter. change it NOW before the loss of oil kills another turbo.

once you have done this, then see how the other problems are.

good luck.
