What to look out for when buying a used disco?

Hello,we are looking to buy a discovery between 1500 to 2000 quid.I was wondering if anybody has any advise of what to look out for good or bad.We would use it as an everyday car and occasional green laneing has to be a diesel not sure which 200 or 300tdi.Any advise appreciated.

do a search at the top if ya dont some bastid will rob ya of ya money !!

do ya want to buy a good 300 tdi or a 200 tdi really good and no rust anywhere i promise :doh:

You will see there are 2 search facilities on the menus at the top of this page. The google search one is not the one you want, its the one just below that. If you do a search for "Buying a Discovery" it will come up with a number of other people that have asked the same question as yourself.
