    What's your Freelander 2's mileage?

    1.632Km = 1 mile. So divide Km's by 1.632 to give miles.

    :D

    Poll edited to allow yer to change yer votes and to have multiple votes for them's who have several Freelander 2's

    :D

    133,000 when bought last year. Now this may have put others off buying the vehicle - being a petrol i6. However I read the entire advert which showed that at 114,000 Land Rover fitted a brand new engine and drivetrain to the vehicle. I ended up with a real bargain. All the trouble areas people worry about past the 100,000 mile mark are all done and replaced by Land Rover with brand new parts. I also have all the LR main dealer receipts to prove the above.
    Currently showing 136,000.

    This could be the kiss of death, but my FL2 is the most reliable car I’ve ever owned. Other than things you can expect to wear out, like batteries, shocks, tyres, brakes and bushes, the only problems have been:-
    • Rear wiper failure. (Given the design, perhaps that can be considered ‘expected’)
    • Intermittent door locking failure leading to perimeter alarm going off. Annoying and expensive to fix, so I lock the affected door manually.
    • Intermittent bonnet open alarm, ditto. Frigged out.
    • Duff thermostat. Replaced it myself.
    • Rear diff oil seal weep. Garage job, fixed.
    • Broken spring in gear knob. Something I have lived with for years without knowing.
    • Filled up with petrol twice (not me!). Drained tank, replaced filters, filled up with diesel and no harm done.
    • Getting stuck behind other vehicles who thought they could get through the mud, flood, snow or ice.
