what colour is this ??

hi all im having trouble finding the right coulor for this 300tdi 90 . we have painted it but the colour is not right :doh:. i think its orignally rutland red im not sure, but someone may know the right colour .

Depending on the year of manufacture the attached might help

none metallic colour

Unfortunately some years overlap giving a couple of possibilities, or Land Rover may have just been using up an older batch!

Some larger Halfords have colour books that you can hold alongside your paint to check, or a proper paint shop can mix to match if you take a small panel (suggest front vent rather than door!)
 
yea thanks for the link . it is an orignal 300tdi so its a 94 upwards we did carry a sample to the local paint shop but it just isnt the same, ive now checked the code of the paint we bought and its 607 rutland red :doh:so i may go to the paint shop and have them custom match the colour to the sample
 
Sounds like a sensible approach

Could just be a result of passage of time - believe red paint can change more in sunlight than some other colours

Am guessing you have slightly more sun than I see here in Scotland :D
