what are these?

the two plugs that plug in to top plenum cover on right hand side above right rocker cover 4.0L??????? as i am removing these to have a look? are any of these idle air control valve?
if not where is it? rave says on plenum chamber?

thats an understatement some bad luck i have never in my life seen as much go wrong with a car in the space of a few weeks its hard when you dont know what anything is either or how its ment to work to fault find

ok the top ones the throttle position sensor but dont know what the one underneath it is or what its supposed to do?

dont know if this is any help , but,
the first picture, looks like the throttle position sensor.
second picture, looks like some sort of anti-stall, or extra air valve

yes the top ones the throttle position sensor and i think the other ones the idle control valve but not sure and i need to know how i can tell if its working as it should?

If it's component no. 16 in the diagram below then it's the multi-point injection stepping motor.

I have had nearly as many probs with my classic, how much has yours cost you so far?

I am up to a grand ,including buying it and its still not done lol.
