Good afternoon, new member here. I’m looking for 1, 2 or 3 of the Westminster style alloy wheel for my 2010 RR Sport. Has to be 22 inch. I have a set, three are great but one constantly cracks so need a couple spare. Thanks in advance.

Here’s the wheel

Yes inside edge. First of all I thought I had a slow puncture only to be told the wheel was cracked. Get it welded, then it cracks next to the weld and the cycle continues. Have had it repaired 4 times so far (at £50 per repair)

Must be a weakness in those comedy size rims.

Have you thought about swapping to D3/4 wheels instead, preferably from the armored D3/4. The armored wheels are much stronger, and won't crack, the moment you drive over a pebble.

We trashed a couple of tyres (bubbles in sidewall) and broke a rim, standard size.
We pretty much run our winter tyre and rims all the time now (255/55 x 19) still broke 1 of them, but we have some very severe potholes sometimes:eek:.

Suggest get some smaller rims and correct tyres ( to keep rolling circumference the same) and save the wheels (And rubber bands) for when you sell.

If a rim has been welded is it actually legal? If it has cracked at the weld it wasn’t good in the first place, watch them potholes.
