I got this in an email,
Dear all,
I attended the Natural England Stakeholder Working Group (SWG) on
Public Rights of Way meeting on the 13th January 09.
In looking at the current process of recording routes on the definitive
map, the group would be interested in receiving information relating to
real world examples of situations where the current processes relating
to recording or changing public rights of way are not working, why any
of the parties involved have been deterred from using them, what the
blockages are perceived to be, and ideas as to how these problems could
be resolved.
It would be very useful to me if you could let me know whether you
believe any of the issues are specific to local circumstances, Wales
specific or whether they represent something more generic for which
solutions could be widely applied.
If you or your contacts do have any examples, please pass them to me in
form or a short synopsis of issues and solutions.
Please let me have any submissions by Tuesday 24th February (in time
for the next SWG meeting).
Attached for your information are the amended Guiding principles of the
SWG, these are evolving.
Many thanks
So if you have anything I can pass on about lanes in Wales please let me know either by PM, posting here or email.
Paul
