Disco 1 welder

hi guys looking for recommendations for a welder to do my sills box section around the bolton / north west area , thanks

Buy one and learn how to weld, that's what I did.
Box section sills, fair bit of flooring work and plating on the chassis, inner wings back and front
Past its MOT 1st go and flew through the past 3 years
Never welded before

You can buy a welder cheaper than it will cost you to get some body to do them !!
I will talk you through the process !!
Will have you welding spot on within a day

Hey we all feel that way, you just have to position yourself differently and take a bit longer about it.
If you do get your own mig/tig then consider a neat little steel guillotine to help cut pieces of new steel to fit.

Ask you mot centre ! They normally do it cheaper than a fabrication shop !
I run a fab shop and charge a fortune !

Only joking my friend ! If you were local I would have looked after you! But mot garages are cheaper than fabrication shops ! Unless you find a retired welder that wants to make himself a few quid!!! Hope you get sorted

Shortage of skilled labour in the north east! All the tradesmen have retired and there's a new breed of semi skilled trades!! They go to college for a week and say they are time served!!!

No shortage of welders at all, they just charge a fortune to do it.

I'm on the South coast or I'd have popped over.

Did you find a welder Henry?

Bought a Mig from machine mart, any tips on how to! i can Gas welded, but no bottles now, i can arc and have a 180amp but thats no good, so bought a Clarke MIG151EN Turbo No Gas/Gas MIG Welder, got it all ready to setup for Gas,
