Weird windscreen wiper proboes....

guys.

Weird one.

My drivers wiper arm keeps falling off, not sure why, I have change the small splined head on the spindle and changed the wiper arm itself but still it occasionally falls off when in use.

Not sure why, anyone any ideas?

There is a bit of ‘slop’ in the wiper mechanism in general and it occasionally ‘over-sweeps’ the screen. Could that be the cause?

Some of the replacement spindle adaptors are a bit rubbish,I got some old series ones that fit with a bolt not an allen screw.

i think i am going to tap the actual wiper arm and hold them to the spindle with a grub screw :/

Seen that done but it does not last,the wiper arm metal is to thin I recon, but if tapping the spildle adaptor to hold to the spindle axle that should work.

what if i tap and grubs screw the wiper arm and threadlock on the spindle aswell?
