Hi all,
I have just joined the forum having been a silent user for a long time solving numerous problems and just getting great advice. Firstly, thank you all for your wisdom, you have saved me literally £1000's!
I have a weird staring issue which might not be so weird to someone here. My disco fires up on the button every time, almost instantly, in cold, wet, hot, you name it, it goes. However, I have discovered that if I'm just a little to eager and let the key go a fraction of a second before it's fired up it obviously doesn't fire up but then it will not fire up at all. The best way to explain it is that it acts like I've just changed the fuel filter and just turns over, as if there is air in the system. If I go through the purge sequence it fires up fine and is completely fine until release the key too early on start up again and it does the same thing. I wondered if this might be some kind of safety cut off but i can't fathom why this would be and can't find any information anywhere. I've found lots of starting issues on here but can't find one that just matches this one. My question is, is this some kind of weird cut off device or is something wrong?
Many thanks in advance of any thoughts, fixes or comments.

then dont be eager from now on and it will be fine ;) ... i can't find a logical explanation for that symptom
