Afternoon all, I've noticed my revs sit quite high at idle, I think the springs in the pictures might need changing as once I lift the throttle linkage it idles perfectly, anyone else had a problem like this that knows what to do ?

I'm sure there's an adjustment stop for the throttle, to set the idle for different engines etc ...

What model weber is it ?

Does look like it could do with a clean and service ...

+1 that ^^ and include lubing the linkage.
If you cannot get hold of a spring that is a little less tired, you could always fab a mount and fit a standard helical spring ,but that is overkill unless you is desperate.
doesn't it settle down once it's hot?
