Wades Roads - The Corrieyairack Pass

Hi Guys,

Just wondering if anyone has recently driven any of General Wades Roads, specifically The Corrieyairack Pass?

I've fancied it for a while, a mate is coming up from Englandshire with his Landy so I thought it would be something descent to do, we did a few days laning in The Lakes when I was down, id like to repay the day out!

I've been on lads of forums but cant read anything definitive, weather it is still legal and accessible, theres a lot of stuff about land owners locking gates etc.

I was considering going for a bit of a recce with D3, but take the MTB as a backup.

Any info, or additional routes/maps would be appreciated.

I assume that's in Scotland, where they're a little behind the times (Like stuck in the Middle Ages ) and don't have 'Green Lanes' .. ALL roads and lanes are owned and I believe you need permission or agreement to drive them. There's a Scottish Greenlaning club, Scottish Offroad Club, who appear to be a wealth of information ..
