Classic Vogue SE seat height adjustment

Can anyone tell if I should be able to lower the height of the driver’s seat on my 91 Vogue SE? My head is touching the headlining and the seat is noticeably higher than the passenger seat but I can’t figure out how to do it. There is an issue with the switch which tilts the seat forward so maybe this is related?

Yes you should, but if the h ad lining has sagged it will touch a midgets head

Thanks. The head lining is not sagging and the driver’s seat back is visibly higher than the passenger seat so it looks like it needs to go down. I can only seem to get it to rock back and forth and can’t seem to lower both the front and rear ends of the seat base for some reason. The owners manual seems to suggest it should be possible so I will have another go and see What I am doing wrong!
