Any ideas as to what causses the occasional but violent steering judder on my 110. This occurs at speed after going over a slight bump or change in road surface. cheers in anticipation.

Ta, both swivels are new, as is the steering box.

check the bushes in the panhard rod and after all other bushes including steering damper

Thanks Lee, ill do that, how would you know if the steering damper is goosed?

Take the damper off, check the bushes and see if it compresses and returns freely... easy job and news ones are cheap enough to replace

Did it shudder before new swivels? I believe they have to be set correctly? Someone on here will advise on that...

sounds like steering damper to me... it went on my disco and i thought she'd shake herself to bits only took a morning and a couple of cups of tea.... do't imagine it'd be too much different on a 110
