VCU - Where to purchase from?

by the way all freelanders feel tight on full lock.
 
Buy one brand new not reconditioned.

Britpart distribute new ones so any big landrover place.

they aint cheap but you get what you pay for with this sort of thing

also fit GKN carrier bearings the the cheap ones are not good
 
I'm well pleased with my recon from Bell Engineering. They will fit good quality bearings to it too at a sensible price. Not sure I would want to trust a Britpart. Once worked for a well known LR Independant who used a lot of Britpart parts, some were ok, some not so.

Yeah, Called and spoke twice to his wife who said she'd get him to call me back but still heard nothing from him/them.
Quite frankly it's a waste of time and money to remove and send it back to them from over here in SW Ireland I hold out no hope of a refund from them and don't want another VCU from them either .
It's a Bell Engineering recon for me in the new year and put Beaumont down to roguish ,robbin' *asterds ...................
I'll make sure that at every opportunity I'll post on every LR web site to avoid them at all costs .
 
Does anyone who's got one of these unVCU's want to cut it open to see whats inside? Maybe a case it would never pass torque due to it's contents, or lack of. Obviously it would wreck it, so you couldn't get a refund. If you prefer, I'll arrange for colllection and cut it open for ya.
