Help needed on my new to me 2005 L322 Vogue please.
Having just read Saint V8's issues I hope mine is a lot easier to diagnose. I have a few issues as follows
Turn key on and rear lights and brake light come on as do the headlights (but not the side lights), turn lights on and off and all is fine however, I have no main beam or indicators on the dash but the indicators and main beam work. I have tried the lamp test and all are illuminating, has anyone had this before? or can point me in the right direction. I have a foxwell tester but it can't connect to the LCM

I would be checking the LCM for damp in the unit and the connectors!

If you get stuck, I have a spare LCM on my desk at work, I could send it out to you for you the plug in and check if it sorts the problem - but remember for it to be 'properly working' it would need to be coded to your car using Faultmate or Testbook.

@Saint.V8 I think you are probably right with the damp as the car was off the road for 5 years and only went back on 18 months ago. The sunroof has been sealed shut but I wouldn't use it anyway, the sat nav in the boot is dead but I don't need that either, the phone has no speach but I have a work around for that for now, the FBH don't work, the heated steering wheel don't work. On the plus side the heated seats work,as does the stereo (except for the CD) and there is no rust (yet) Thanks for the offer of the LCM my local Landy guy has a testbook, I will let you know. Not sure if it is related to the LCM but the sounder doesn't work either. Cheers for the pointers I'll have a look this weekend.
Good job I still got my Disco :)

@Henry_b I knew it had issues before I bought it, that's why it was cheap.

@Saint.V8 Just had a quick look but I guess it's not a 5 minute job. I need to do the engine and gearbox oil saturday, weather permitting as I don't think it's been done for a long time.

Re the LCM. I have been reading the Rave manual and am learning a lot about the various bus's, just wondering if they are spliced together somewhere and if so are the splices readily accessible to scope (if mine still works).

Forget last comment, it's a bus so should be able to measure on any ECU.

Borrowed a LCM from a local farmer who is breaking an 02 plate petrol and lights are behaving better now.
Question is are they all compatible ? i.e an 02 petrol LCM in an 05 TD6.
