I'm new here so if this is on the wrong place then apologies.
I've got a 2000 disco2 v8 auto,
Used to run like a champ and never failed to start.
But then the inevitable happened it would start and run great for 30 mins then it would cut out and not re start again for about 20mins I assumed till it cooled down.
I replaced the crankshaft position sensor and it fired up right away but ran like a pig dropping cylinders left right and centre.
I've removed the new cps and there is wear to the needle part of the sensor??
I then inspected the old cps and there are similar wear marks to it and it's bent aswell!! Help!!!
