Hi. I'm after pictures of the air inlet on a V6 to sort snorkel kit for them. No one local has one. May need some measurements too.
Cheers DD

I'll be checking my old V6 (now the mother in law's) over for its MOT on Friday. If you can wait until then?
However the actual air connection in the engine bay is the same as the TD4.
What measurements are you looking for?

That'd be great. No massive rush. Can't remember where it picks air up from. If it's the wing the same as Td4. Diameter of pipework would be handy :D
Cheers Nodge ;)

I have just asked this question on you other thread are you going to produce for the V6 as well as the TD4 if so how much as a kit form and the instructions for fitting please etc.

Yup. Doing one mirror image for the other pillar too. Sorted rd4 connection. Need to look at v6 though. The basics are the same.

I'll get you the measurements you need for the V6 later. Got a window fitter in at the moment.

I'm guessing that you could supply a kit for either side, on any model. For instance, on the TD4, there's no need to have a RHS snorkel, when a LHS snorkel is closer to the engine intake. This would give the engine a colder air charge, as it doesn't need to go across the entire engine bay.
Just a thought for those looking to get a bit of free power ;)

Looked at LH on td4. There's too much in the way. Aircon and fbh. It would shorten the intake if you could.
Cheers for looking at the V6
