V5 help

Hi all

I got my v5 back in my name today for discovery 1.
In section 3 on the front page it says under special notes was registered/used overseas declared manufactured 1996.

Then on the next page it says under section 4
date of first registration 21 04 1997
Date of first registration in the UK 21 04 1997

So just wondering if this in an import truck or is it just a case a previous owner used it abroad at some point?

Mines similar but I believe it were on irish bit of the kingdom before the mainland. Tis interesting when putting reg no. Into some sites specially insurance or parts ones.

Ahhh right ok then, that does make sense as when I was looking for insurance a couple of sites could not find the car?
