Disco 2 Uprated spring choices

I'm planning to add some extra weight to the front of my Disco 2, discrete winch, steering guard and second battery, along with full length roof rack. I also regularly tow around 3 tonnes. I really need to beef up the springs for all this, but don't really want to go for a full lift, just compensate for the extra weight. Can anyone recommend a spring set for this?

do a search on king springs I got mine off ebay you can get standard height and raised both are HD far better going with the raised springs..... raised means 20 mm unless it states otherwise
don't do what I did my rear suspension was sagging 3 years ago so I added in king springs ...2 weeks ago my front sagged so I added in king springs to the front ...my rear springs are 3 years older than the front so now my front is a little higher than the rear so I needed to add in a block to the rear to compensate the age in springs
I don't tow 3 ton but you may also need coil rite air bags that slot inside the rear spring to assist ..... I had the fire stone ones many years ago on a rear of a Nissan they never let me down

My experience is that HD springs of a standard height, give an effective lift of over an inch due to reducing 'sag' on the stock springs. When I added a winch and steering guard the 'lift' was reduced to standard height, re-introducing the natural sag that all springs should have.

I used Britpart HD springs .. a pretty good, damn cheap, product .. :)

thanks Ozzy, they would seem to fit the bill, sadly having looked at the cost of delivery from Oz, unless I can find a uk supplier they're going to be a no go.

Thanks Paul, I must say I do avoid britpart after some less than satisfactory results in the past, particularly for anything safety critical.
 
I've fitted terrafirma plus 2s to a few discos now, although it is a lift it not silly, did these on my friends disco he has winch and heavy bumper, he also tows lots (big tri axle Ifor) laden to the hilt and his rides spot on.

Maybe not the best of the best but really good value for money.......IMO

I've used plenty of Terrafirma parts on my vehicles in the past and been very pleased with the results, this D2 already has TF CDG brakes and hd steering. I'll take a closer look at a small lift, but the main reason to avoid to much is that the misses has enough trouble getting in as it is! Lol
 
I was shocked as I thought it was nearer 1/4 ton, but I did shut doors and start engine when half loaded.

Felt rather odd, 400kg of wood flooring in the back and the car was level
