arrgrh. yet another thing to add to the overdraft. I hate this time of
year - no pay between August and October, and a raft of things absorbing
money.

can we do it by paypal? if so, what email address?

might as well do the whole thing, I can;t see any point travelling up there
otherwise.

FAO Richard Brookman: since you'll be almost-passing my place, what price
bringing the side steps and dropping them in, then convoy to north wales?

You all have way too much fun!! The only gathering I can find here is
"camp jeep", and the bastards won't let me take the disco! The locl
jeep dealer told me that jeep wrote the book on 4x4, I replyed "yes
they did, but land rover edited it and published it!", and then drove
across his prefectly mowed lot on my way out.
Would love to attend some time, but me thinks i need more than a
snorkel kit to get there!

We will be camping (sorted already) and we'd like to do the mountain tour,
but not the off-roading part. We'll watch and offer suggestions instead.

Austin - let me know your postcode (reply address is munged) and I'll see
how the route pans out. Otherwise, you could bring some string and have
"roof steps" on Edward when we get there.

Essay nineteen eight jaypee. You don't *have* to come this way, but
provided you branch off soon enough it's not much extra mileage. Even if
you were to do it the least efficient way possible - up the coast to
aberaeron, turn right, come here, back to aberaeron and turn left it only
adds about 40 miles. If you come up to Cardigan and then cut across to
Cenarth and up to Lampeter, it's better. And from Lampeter you can go to
Aberystwyth without going back to Aberaeron, thereby saving a few more
miles.

Convoy would be quite fun - Edward unencumbered should just about keep pace
with your thing with the caravan on :)

Im hoping to make it. Not sure what in - while the 101 may be mobile i
doubt it will be MOT'd by then (stupid brake lines).
I wont offroad, but will come and hitch rides and spectate.

Assuming that i can just turn up and camp with you?

Booked a slot on the camp site?

Stop making excuses and get that 101 sorted ;-) if you need me to come help
push the brake pedal give me a shout, I need to pick up that Ghost
instruction book if you still have it up for grabs anyway.

We aren't off roading I don't think... Disco has the chassis tanks and the
101 is getting too good to rough up, Kettles and cutlery flying around
inside more the concern than the outside... Percy is still in a state of
limbo and my dream 110 is still a dream and likely to remain so until I win
the lottery.

DIY keeps getting in the way of the 101 now!. My jobs for the weekeng
include building a wall and doing some house wiring before i can get
onto 101 wiring!

after hearing that you got someone else to sort your brakes out i'm
scared! :)
I am almost tempted to paint over the rusty pipes and then get it
MOT'd and sort it after.

I was going to say that you can drive my 2A there if you dont mind
losing your hearing and getting soaked if it rains- but the leaking
should be sorted my marks doors so its just the hearing loss problems
now!
