Just a quickie...

Am I right to assume that all parts that I order for a 1975 Series 3 - eg brake hoses should have UNF threads?

Probably but it'll depend on what's been messed about with by previous owners.

That's a pretty universal answer for old landys. There's some useful guidance in the operations manual about brake connectors on page 33.
