Last year I was lucky enough to be invited to take part in Trans-Pyrenean Expedition and it was fantastic. We spent 10 days traversing the Pyrenees with a group of 3 Land Rovers, camping every night and a good time was had by all. It was not an organised, guided tour but a group of friends navigating as we went.
We would all love to do such adventures but time and money always seem to get in the way.
Is there anywhere in the UK that we can legally stage a similar multi-day off-road adventure?
Maybe it could be an annual forum meet

Wales is chock full of good green lanes and very large P&Ps plus many campsites. Wiltshire/Salisbury are similar, I believe Cumbria has many scenic green lanes and the like and of course Scotland!

Greenlaning in Scotland? Where? There's nowhere that I know that you can get Off Road legally without the landowner's direct permission and the keys to the gates.

I've done a few .. mostly just weekends or 3 to 4 days ...

Coast to coast, Home to Wales on road, back home again green laning ... We regularly 'do an area' for a weekend or longer, as above, with a central campsite and do wherever the lanes take us.

Mostly Wales, the Lakes, Derbyshire, North Yorkshire and Yorkshire Dales, sometimes combining them, but we've also done Salisbury Plain, Norfolk in fact almost anywhere except Scotland ... ;)
