Especially good if you're new to off-roading they're not only fun but very instructional at the same time, they do give you a good idea of what Landrovers can do when pushed not quite to the limits!

I booked one for SHMBO at Gaydon and she absolutely loved it, she went round in a brand new Range Rover Sport which she had to be dragged out of:)

I've been promising myself to got to the Bala greenlane that Land Rover sometimes organize, most of the time it's a driving club who own the land, will have to give it a try :D

Thanks ever so much for your replies. We are definitely going to book it and have decided on the full day one. :)

Esm xx

Good on yer, take plenty photo's and let us know how you like offroading and Landrovers, or dislike it! We won't be (much) offended if you hate it .. my wife does, she just puts up with it for me .. ;)

My missus loves off roading, almost comes to blows over who's driving. Mean right hook that woman lol

Our lass used to but she's since contracted Menieres disease, which is an ear 'thing' that affects balance and perception, so bobbing up and down isn't good for her. She likes to sit in the back, and peer out the windows when we stop! She loves going, just hates the rockin' and rollin' ... ;) She often gets out and walks the gnarly bits, they're often too much for her ...

She also hates driving Landrovers, reckons they're a bit vague on steering .. though she only drove me old series and it was fair to say it needed a deft hand and good coordination to keep it going straight! She's never driven one since, not even the Disco, since she felt the clutch and thought it was broken .. ;)
