Any body got any advice for what type of tyre to get for my 200tdi, I need to replace the front 2. I mainly drive on road and would like good econamy however when I go off road I dont wan't to look like a plonker and get stuck on wet grass before I hit any mud.

Any sugestions on where to go and how much I should expect to pay per tyer fitted.

Thanks

most of use have two sets of tyres 1 set of road tyres and a set of mud tyres wot sort of off roading do you wont to do

Thats cool, at the moment I can't afford to do two sets so I would like to get basicaly a road set for now, however I don't want ot get cought out if I neeed to drive into a wet field which I do for work ocasionaly

I've been looking at tyres for my P38 RR, the General Grabber AT2's seem pretty good. Like you, most of my driving is on-road, but I do go off-road and don't want to get stuck too easily! Been asking questions and reading reviews about the AT2's and I've not heard anyone say bad things about it., all complimentary on grip, lack of road noise etc.

For my P38 (255/65/R16) the AT2's are £62+VAT each at Paddocks, which I reckon is pretty good for an all-terrain tyre. Since my local tyre place can't get them, they will fit them for £10 each if I supply. So a whole set fitted is a bit over £300, which I don't reckon is too bad as the Pirelli Scorpions are near £100 per tyre, and are road-biased tyres.

Matt.
