Tyre advice

Hello,

I have a set of offroad rubber for my Ser 3 SWB but want some more roadey type rubber to cut down on noise and slightly higher to help top end speed!! As these will be the second set don't want to part with too much cash.
If I buy white/grey 8 spokes what is the tallest tyre I can fit on without rubbing bodywork??
Saw somewhere that Disco rims fit - is this true and if so what year/model

Don't know about the tyre size, but a set of steel wheels from any discovery 1
will fit.

BFG's all terrain are supposed to be good.
Some guys at the beach were using them, they were wading on a sand base and reckon the road noise is minimal. AND they look good.
