Hi all, please help! I have a freelander 2 2007 and ned to get a change of Tyre. currently there are wrangler HP's on and I wanted to get some AT tyres, but the various companies all keep telling me different things. Ideally I would like BFG's or soemthing similar (50/50) all terrains, but the size of the wheels at 235/65 r17 seems almost impossible. Anyone got any suggestions?

i think you might have to change your tyre choice, i had a look around and that size is proberly to small a side wall

I was being nice!!!
how about finding out if 16" wheels will fit then you could have some 235/70X16 BFGOODRICH AT KO All Terrain Tyres?

bloody gaylander 2 off road what ever next? who do i keep my doors on?

thanks for the "advice" guys - unfortunately work comes before play so the car stays! I did however fit some Kumho KL78 tyres and took it off road yesterday - must say they are very quiet on the road compared to the Goodyear Wrangler HP that come as standard, the grip was excellent and the car, beleive it or not, loves the mud! Been off road quite a bit in another one of these and never had a problem including using it in the Brecon Beacons when doing surveying - it may not be a defender but there is not much they wont do if you drive them properly.;)
