Disco 2 Two out of three brake lights not working

Hi all, I've had a look through previous posts but can't find an answer.
Basically my high mounted and off side brake lights don't work (near side is fine). Brought two new bulbs and checked the fuse but to no avail. Could it be the switch or would that stop all brake lights from working? It's a 2001 auto if that makes any difference.

Have you got the wirng diagram and checked through that?

When you say you checked the fuse, did you try swapping it? or use a multimeter?

Switch or fuse would affect them all, the RH side brake lamp shares the same earth point with the high mounted one... if it's that any bulb from the RH rear cluster would would not work as well so see that and if the whole cluster is dead i'll tell you where the common earth point is....do you have RAVE?

Just looked at it to be honest Neilly and it looked fine, I will try swapping it over.

That would not fix your problem as long as you dont check what i said and you dont answer ... i quote myself:

so are the other bulbs working in that cluster or not?

Sorry, I thought I said that. No, they are not.

I wrote that wrong too! All other lights work fine in that cluster only brake lights not working

Then it's not the earth point at fault, you'll have to measure for voltage in the brake bulb's holder, if no voltage there see Electrical library- connector views and go to C0723 and see if it's voltage on the green/purple wires

Alternatively , you could explain to @danam1 how you are finding this info in RAVE so he could help himself in the future.........................

From my experience in forums i observed that if somebody knows how to use RAVE and the diagrams there's no need for explanations and if explanations are needed they are in most cases useless for somebody without experience in the domain
