Going to get the turbo rebuilt and the injectors and pump tested from my 200tdi engine.

Anyone have any recommended companies? No real issues when the engine was running just fancy getting everything tiptop.

These guys looked ok

I found it a lot cheaper to buy refurbished ones, rather than having mine tested then refurbished.
I might have had a rare experience, but I wish I'd bought a brand new turbo instead of getting a refurbished one. Will probably end up buying a new one on top of the refurbished one I've currently got.

I was thinking that with the turbo. Nothing wrong with mine, but of play but nothing too serious, but a new one for piece of mind.

The place in the link tests mechanics injectors for £3 and I’m umming and arring about the pump

Well, for what it's worth, I've been left wondering 'what if'. My first refurbed turbo was sh@t. They replaced it and the immediate difference when I took it on the road give me a big smile. Probably could still be better though. I'm pretty sure this second one isn't 1000% right.
Can't remember how many miles your engine and, presume injectors, have done. However, it's probably time they had a refurb and re-calibration, so you might as well bite the bullet.
Other than cleaning the outside, nothing has been done to my FIP. No doubt it needs a health check. New turbo and FIP refurb are next on my wish list.

It's done 160, but the more i take apart the more i realise the previous owners hadn't given it the care and attention it deserved
