Finally got the OK from the insurance company to modify my 2003 Td4 so I am resurecting the project. Bit puzzled about the both the EGR bypass and the Tuning box.
There appears to be two EGR bypass modules on e-bay, one black laquered and one stainless steel and both slagging each other off. On the face of it the stainless should be better but knowing the problems with welding this material anybody have an opinion which to go for.
Tuning-diesels for cheaper diesel tuning. seem to be quite authoratative on the Td4 and push the Synergy 2 but a general search reveals many others at distinctly varying prices from slightly cheaper to nearly 3 times the price. As they all seem to produce about the same levels of improvement any one have an idea what the differences are?
