Truck cab

Hi all knowledgeable ones...

I am intending to put a full tilt canvas back and hoop set on my 88" Series 3, but with poor weather coming was looking for a quick fix in the meantime - so I thought about putting a truck cab on for the winter.

I have been looking on ebay and I was wondering if I could broaden my horizons by also looking at other model truck cabs? Now I assume that a Series 2/2A would fit anyway.... but would a 90 or even a defender cab fit straight on as well?

Or if any of you have one that you are looking to get rid off, or indeed a full tilt canvas or hoops or both then I would be pleased to hear from you?

... and they can be quite a bit more expensive.

2/2a/3 truck cabs are indeed interchangeable.
- if you get one off a 109 you'll also need the filler strip that covers the gap at the back.
- you might run into seatbelt mounting issues if it hasn't got mounts fitted, depending on what type of seatbelts you had in your hardtop.
- try and make sure it comes with the bolts that go into the mounting tubes just behind the doors, they're 'special'

but I've just made another in a rather long line of rash decisions relating to this project...Just bought a brand new set of hoops and canvas back so should be here in a week or so - possibly not the best for winter, but better than being completely open, and fantastic for when we get an odd dry day - yippekaiey!!!!
