Open windows?
Jokes aside my hardtop (not a truck cab) is lined with panels I made out of corrugated plastic with silver bubble insultion stuck on then carpet. They are held on by the shape and some screws. The panels are quite stiff and you can shape and form the corrugated plastic. You can often get it free as its used to protect floors during construction.

I’ve use silent coat sound deafening and then re trimmed my head lining and window surounds in a grey van lining carpetHas worked great and also amazing sound deadining properties, sounds like a golf lol. Used it on my show t5 I built and had some left so thought I’d see if it works as the standard head lining had seen better days.

On a side note if anyone fancies swapping there van back for a truck truck cab+ cash if needed the Id be Very interested

i got a big roll of closed cell foam carpet underlay. cost about £20 on ebay and there was enough to line out the whole hard top of my 109, and enough to do it again if i wanted. its not very thick but its really effective for temperature and sound insulation, and it was dead light so sticking it up was easy.

Link? Sound like good stuff.

I've been looking at similar stuff on eBay, I found some self adhesive tiles made out of simple stuff, I'll have a measure tomorrow.

Those tile mats are cheap that lock together. Make sure you use high temperature contact adhesive or they 'will' fall off. You can get a scrim foam to go over them that absorbs sound and cover with van liner carpet for a bit of posh.

Posh and van in the same sentence. Interesting concept.
Posh van

A slammed transporter on rims with blacked out windows. Its a nice van, I dont know if I'd say it was a posh van. :D

Some friends and I are looking for a T4 for a communal day van / camper / general load lugger. Something like this... Doesn't have to be yellow mind.

That’s white one was mine, Audi R8 front seats and full nappa leather retrim with all the toys...she was posh, oh it was air to lol. But **** all use off road. Do it dude there great vans I sort of miss mine but now living closer to the sea I don’t need one for living in while surfing on weekends

Haha! It would have to be on air to be that low. Really nice rims BTW. Fair play on the retrim, must have cost a few quid. I'm still struggling with the posh thing though :D

Got to get the land running first, its still in bits

Ha ha yeh it was a little impractical when it was that low and static, think the highlight was getting grounded leaving a busy mall carpark lol, air was a must in the end. Those wheels were the only set in the world at one point (my friend is the uk importer for fifteen52 wheels and was lucky enough to get them first) as for the retrim it was so worth it tough it looked lovely

Hi ,
Recently did my roof , used a 1x2 m sheet of 20mm close density foam , covered by grey acoustic carpet , all from e-bay .I had the roof off to do it , but generally pretty straight forward, as mentioned , don't forget to use temp glue , as even in the UK the roof gets might hot . Used the opportunity to fit an overhead light .
