Hello to everyone. Newbie introducion. I have a freelander 1 td4 which has served me faithfully for 13 yrs!
recently a noise developed in the transmission. When we were kids we put a piece of cardboard on the backwheel of my cycle to make it sound like a moped. This is the same type of noise and only occurs in drive- take her out of gear and it disappears! 2nd gear has started to be difficult to engage moving down the gears.Has anyone any idea on this. Could it be a gear selector problem.?
kind regards, Baratman
