Looking to do a full service on my 2002 td5 within the next week or two.
So far i've purchased mobil super fe semi synthetic 5w30 engine oil, mtf94 genuine landy gear oil along with some one shot grease for the swivel pin housings.
I'm now looking at buying the oils for the transfer box and diff's. My manual states 75w90 for the transfer box, would semi or fully synthetic be best? What brands do you guy's recommend. I've seen mobil do a fully synthetic but it's about £12.50 a litre!
With regards to the diffs what should i be looking at using? My manual states ep90 but i've seen many people mention using 80w90 and 75w90, again should this be fully synthetic and what brands should i be looking at?
Many thanks
Hugh
