My 95 TD300 (new purchase)

During the process of changing trailer plugs to math the Disco

I touched the tail light wire to earth that connects through the trailer harness and feamale plug on the Discovery.

after disconecting the trailer and assesing the result I found the following.

1 I have no R/H tail light
2 No front R/H parkerlight
3 No dash lights

4 all lamps test OK

I checked with my multi meter all the 35 or so fuses under the dash
and under the bonnet near the batery but the all look OK

Yes I will get a manual got disco 2 weeks ogo.

Please advise Which fuse is it ???

Im sure someone out there can shed some light

- Please dont tell my wife.

"YOUR GOING TO WRECK THAT NEW CAR" PUTING CHIP OIL IN IT"

Just another issue that is related to towing
I would like my tail lights up on the main car to work.
I had a 93 pajero witch for some reason the lights in the bumper
were the only ones illuminating. and now I find the same thing with the Discovery 1995 td300. am I cursed, or are they all out to get me.

me again :)
certain models of the 300tdi had tail lights in the bumper only but earlier models have them in the main cluster aswell
first check if your indicators are only in the bumper if so then you will not have any tail lights in the main cluster
this was the same on my car so i bought myself a set of earlier model light cluster and swaped them(pain in the butt job) now i have 4 rear indicators and 4 rear lights

if you do have indicators in the main cluster then you must have tail lights in there somewhere :)
