Hi people
The traction control warning light has just come on the dashboard along with the hill descent control warning light on my 2006 TD4 auto.

Anybody got any ideas before i take it to the dealers under warranty?

Thanks landy people

if it's under warranty say nowt while the dealer throws on as many new parts as possible! :)

I agree.
It is probably a cheap & easy fix not worthy of returning to the dealer but in case it isn't I would take it back in the hope they follow the manual and replace several items before looking at the likely cause (i.e. the brake-light switch).
Of course, if it is inconveniant to get back to the dealer (our's was the other side of town and was booking over 1-week in advance) then just look at it yourself. I did my wife's in about 2-minutes.

Thanks people, apparantly its the switch behind the brake pedal or summat like that, but hey the main dealer are fixing it as we live and breathe. oh and apparantly the front brake caliper is binding and so its getting a new of them too whilst its in the garage.

Aint warranties brill!!!
