Hello,

I intend to travel around to off road sites pulling my ccv on a trailer.
Iv'e not done too much of this with my p38 (deisel) since suspension problems, would i be better off changing to springs and dampers?

Also i think the p38 is a tired so what should i do to give it a bit more oooomph up the hills if you know what i mean?

Mike.

ps,

What are seperate tags?

PSI Power box will give you more power. They use air springs on trucks and the P38 is rated to tow 3.5 tonnes so you should not have any problem if the EAS is in good order and the airbags are not shot, just make sure the trailer nose weight is within limits. I tow a caravan of 1.5 tonnes often and a mini digger from time to time with mine .

After market, chip add on to remap the fuelling to give more fuel at lower revs, hence better towing performance. For more bang for a lot more buck uprate the puny intercooler to as large as poss and remap fuel pump for miles better torque.

Lots of garages sell psi power box, and is plug in so can be removed for MOT etc.
