you can just leave gears in neutral theres no clutch packs to damage

oh right, i thought i had to put transfer box in neutral to stop damaging the transfer box. but thank you for your help, now i know just in case the worst happens

yes you have to put the fuse in it selects neutral within the transfer box when towing if you dont the gearbox will stay connected to the axles with the engine off you have no air going through the oil cooler for the gearbox its not the transfer box that will get damaged the transfer box connects from the axles to the gearbox when fuse is in neutral will display on the dash
