I have a sturdy winch bumper fitted to my 90. It doesn`t have a sturdy towing eye though.
If I intend to go off roading, i.e. on a Clubs public driving day or to Tixover off road pay + play playground, is it compulsory to have one?
If they are, or even are just sensible to have, can they be bought seperately?

thats a bit of a faff if there are other vehicles about. Jate rings are prob your best option as mentioned above. DONT let someone pull you out using the winch cable, they are not designed to be used this way and you will F*&(% your winch up.

Ohh yes wot he said, never use your winch like a rope! poor poor winch brake mech. jate rings £25 a pair. decent rope (not strops) and some shackels your good to go
